11 months old!!

Can you believe it's only one more month until Alyssa's 1st birthday!!


This past year has flown by. Here are some of the things about our little girl this month:

• Alyssa usually goes to sleep around 8 PM and on the weekends, she usually sleeps in until 7:30-8 AM. We're very lucky that she's been sleeping through the night since she was 10 weeks old and now letting us sleep in a little on the weekends! :)
• While we are still not walking quite yet, Alyssa is a fast crawler and sometimes even crab walks (crawls on her feet, not on her knees). We practice walking everyday with the new lion toy that Grandma Kim got for her.
• Alyssa is almost completely on table foods. She makes lots of "mmmm" noises when she eats! :) She has tried lots of different table foods and is definitely a meat lover. At daycare, she will eat the the main dish from her lunch but not the sides. For example, she ate the meatballs yesterday but not the mashed potatoes and applesauce. Today, she ate the chicken fingers but not the mixed veggies or applesauce. She has tried ox tail, galbi, bulgogi, steak, chicken, fish, bread, seaweed soup with rice just to name a few and Grandma Kim has even given her stuff she's not supposed to have including a piece of chocolate cookie and a boiled peanut. Luckily, it looks like Peanut does not have an allergy to peanuts! She also loves her yobaby yogurt and puffs are her snack of choice!
• She loves to dance and clap to music all the time, whether it is music coming from the radio, her toys, or the nursery rhymes CD that they play in daycare.
• She says "mama" and "dada" (though it's more dada than mama). If she's talking to Greg, then it's just "da". She also says "uh oh" when she drops something or even when I drop something. It's too cute!
• Alyssa truly is a happy baby most all of the time. She's only fussy when there's something wrong (tired, hungry, etc) and has the sweetest personality and funniest mannerisms. I love when she cracks up laughing with mommy or daddy!
