Holiday Weekend

I'm way behind on updating from last weekend. We went to Atlanta for Memorial Day to see family and friends. Alyssa had a great time playing with her big cousin Ezra and followed him around, repeated everything he said and basically just watched him in awe all weekend. Mommy caught up on sleep - I think I took 4 naps on Saturday and was still tired - it's not easy to sleep when you have 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs sharing one room together. :) Since the weather was pretty warm, the kids had fun playing in the pool. Alyssa had gotten in the pool and had her outfit soaked earlier in the day so we changed her into a bathing suit to play some more.

Poor Alyssa - the bugs were eating her up. She had so many mosquito bites that we clipped the Off fan onto her bathing suit to see if that would help!

After some pool time, we went inside to play with all of the fun toys at Gigi and May May's house.

We also a huge bag of hand me downs from Ezra and Vicki that had lots of clothes and shoes for Jacob. One pair was for Alyssa though and she definitely loves them....

We had a great weekend with family and came back late Sunday night. We decided to have a last minute cook out at our place on Monday for Memorial Day and invited a few friends over. It was a lot of fun and a great holiday weekend!
